Opening ceremony: Sagaing Region CM attended opening of training course

The opening ceremony of domestic electrical installation course jointly organized by Sagaing Region Youth Affairs Committee and Region directorate of small-scale industries was held at the stadium in the Monywa People’s playground in the morning on September 20 with the attendance of Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, region chief justice, members of region government, advocate general of the region, region/district/township level departmental officials, training instructors and trainees.

At the ceremony, the chief minister said the state administration council formed the youth affairs committees to carry out the affairs of the youth effectively; the youth are the invaluable human resource for the country and a significant force for the development of the country and the future leaders.

The region government is opening the technical training courses to create job opportunity for the youth, to facilitate the alleviation of poverty and for the youth to earn decent livelihood. The trainees are urged to study the theoretical and practical lessons in deep attention without absent day.

Next, the director of region Department of Sports and Physical Education clarified regarding the opening domestic electrical installation course. Then, the chief minister provided 500,000 Kyats for the training instructors and trainees, posed for documentary group photo with officials concerned and viewed the training teaching aid materials and equipments.

The domestic electrical installation course will be conducted for 15 days from 20th September to 4th October and a total of 28 trainees will attend the course. Afterward, the chief minister and officials inspected the construction works of roofed spectators stand building, the engineer in-charge clarified regarding the construction works and the chief minister gave necessary instructions and coordinated requirements.

Later, the chief minister and officials attended the meeting of region investment committee held at the meeting hall of region government office in the afternoon. First, the chief minister gave an opening remark.

Next, the director of region directorate of investment and company administration Daw May Myo Zaw clarified regarding the completion of implementation on the decisions of previous meeting, the application of Sagaing Steel Industry Co,Ltd which is 100% of local investment to manufacture and sell the steel and steel-based items, the application of Jinxin Technology Sagaing Co, Ltd to permit the extension of construction period and the on ground inspection service.

Next, the members of region government and members of investment committee and meeting attendees discussed and gave suggestions on the investment industries.  Then, the Chairman of Sagaing Region Investment Committee, Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw coordinated necessaries upon the discussions and suggestions and gave a speech of conclusion, it’s reported.
