Opening ceremony: Inter-District U-25 Women Football competition opened

The opening ceremony of 2024 Magway Region Inter-District U-25 Women Football Tournament took place at the Magway Region stadium with the attendence of the Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, ministers, concerned officials and guests.

At the opening speech, Patron of the Region Women's Sports Federation said that the Football Tournament is held aiming at raising standard of health and physical fitness of entire people and to turn out outstanding women athletes who will raise the prestige of the country. And the patron concluded her speech urging all the athletes to practice systematically in accordance with up-to-date techniques to improve their capabilities.

And, the Patron presented cash reawards to Drum and Bugle group which preformed during the opening ceremony.

Then, the Chief Minister and party enjoyed the match between Pakokku District Team and Thayat District Team. The 2024 Magway Region Inter-District U-25 Women Football Tournament is scheduled to held from 20th to 30th of June, it’s learnt.
