






In the Buddha Park where the Maravijaya Buddha Image which will be the highest marble carving Buddha statue on the world is be erecting in Dakkhinathiri Township, Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw, the significant ceremony of establishing auspicious ground on the opposite site of the Buddha Image and the opening ceremony of Saddadhipati great bell were held in the morning on 23rd July with the attendance of the Leading donor of the Buddha Image and the Chairman of the State Administration Council Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Together with the Leading donor of the Buddha Image and the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, wife DawKyuKyuHla, Council Deputy Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than ThanNwe, Council Secretary and wife, Council Joint-Secretary and wife, Council members and their wives, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) and wife, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council and wife, Tatmadaw Senior officials and wives, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and officials attended. After opening the ceremony, the congregation led by the Prime Minister and wife recited the Ratanattaya Gatha and two verses of Sabbasangahaka sending loving-kindness in unison.
After laying and scattering the jewelries on the auspicious ground by the Leading Donor SAC Chairman Prime Minister, the master of ceremony read the Pathavijaya Mantan and auspicious time record. At the auspicious time, the Prime Minister enshrined the pieces of grounds taken from 7 significant sites of Buddhagaya in India and 35 sites of prominent pagodas across the country in the Vijayabuminimmana auspicious ground.
Afterward, the auspicious verses were recited and the master of ceremony read the merits sharing lines, sent the loving-kindness and shared the merits. At the opening ceremony of Saddadhipati great bell donated by the family of the Leading Donor SAC Chairman, Prime Minister and wife opened the bell by giving 9 strikes on it and sprinkled with the scented water. Then, the SAC Vice Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister and wife gave the strikes on the bell.
After reading the merits sharing lines by the master of ceremony, the ceremony was concluded by reciting three times of “Buddha Sasanan Ciram Tithatu”. Then the Leading Donor Prime Minister and wife tossed the banknotes in commemorating the achievement of the ceremony.
The Vijayabuminimmana auspicious groundwas established on the opposite site of the Maravijaya Buddha Image at theBuddha Park with the enshrinement ofthe pieces of grounds taken from 7 significant sites of Buddhagaya in India and 35 sites of prominent pagodas across the country and the Saddadhipati great bell made of 738 visses of brass which is 5 feet height and 4 feet and one inch of mouth is donated by the family of the Leading Donor SAC Chairman, Prime Minister and wife with the aims of showing the flourishing of Theravada Buddha Sasana to the world, shaping Myanmar as a focal point of Theravada Buddhism, ensuring the prosperity of the State, and ensuring peace and prosperity in the world.
