Online e-Visa Reopening: System To Be Reopened On April 1 For Business Visa

The Online e-Visa system will reopen on 1st April, the Ministry of Immigration and Population announced on Tuesday.

The Ministry launched the e-Visa Website (evisa.moip.gov.mm) on 1st September 2014.In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation and rapid increase of COVID-19 cases around the globe, there has been a temporary suspension for all new e-Visa applications since 20th March 2020.

At present, COVID-19 diagnosis confirmed rate and infection rate have dropped. In support of the economic development of the State, the Online e-Visa system will reopen on 1st April for business visa applications in accordance with the COVID-19 rules and regulations of the Ministry of Health. Requirements for the application of Online e-Visa (Business) will be available at the Ministry’s website evisa.moip.gov.mm.
