One Tourist One Tree: Commemorative tress planted by Thai tourists

Under the One Tourist One Tree Program, tourists from Thailand planted commemorative trees during their visit in Myanmar. The ceremony took place in the compound of Jasmine Naypyitaw Hotel, with the attendance of Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khaing.

The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism has been implementing the One Tourist One Tree Program in cooperation with the Picturesque Myanmar Travels and Tours Co., Ltd, Pearl Vacation Co., Ltd, and PPTV of Thailand. In order to attract more tourists from Thailand, the salient points of tourism industry have been posted on the Ministry’s website and web portal in Thai language. In addition, the Familiarization Trips (Fam Trips) have been organized to draw the interest of Thai tourists.
