One person killed and five injured in New York subway shooting

One person was killed and five others injured in shooting at a New York City subway station Monday evening.  All of the injured were listed in stable condition at various hospitals.

According to the police, two groups of teenagers got into a dispute aboard a northbound 4 train, and as the train pulled into the station, a suspect took out a gun and opened fire.

Authorities are looking for a pair of suspects, and are investigating if the shooting is part of a dispute that spilled over from a nearby school.
