The Olympic flag touched down in Paris, the host city of the 2024 Games, on Monday. The colours were borne by the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, who received them at the Tokyo closing ceremony on Sunday. International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach presented the flag to Hidalgo.
