Officer saves baby who wasn't breathing at US airport

A US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officer rescued an infant at a Newark Liberty International Airport, performing a life saving maneuvre when his mother saw the boy wasn't breathing.

Video released by TSA on Thursday of an incident earlier in December, showed TSA agent Cecilia Morales, a trained emergency medical technician with 10 years of experience jumping over the conveyor belt rollers, taking hold of the baby and performing the Heimlich on the baby, holding him down to keep his airway open while she patted him on the back twice, until he started breathing.

 In a press release on Thursday, TSA said the mother realised the infant was unresponsive when she picked him up from his car carrier seat to get him through security at the Airport.
