Offertories trees conveying: Township-wide Kathina robe offering ceremony in Taunggyi

The Padethabins or offertories trees conveying of 73rd Township-wide Kathina robe offering ceremony was held in Taunggyi Township of Shan State (South) on Sunday morning.

Led by the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, the State Ministers, State Advocate General, State Government Secretary, State, District and Township level departmental and concerned officials and town elders conveyed round the downtown, with Padethabins or offertories trees along Bogyoke Aung San Road.

Well-wishers and enthusiasts thonged along the road and the conveyed padethabins or offertories were sent to downtown community hall of Atula Marazein SutaungPyae Buddha Image.

In 73rd Township-wide Padethabins conveying ceremony, 86 Padethabin or offertories will be offered to 101 monasteries in Taunggyi Township, it’s learnt.
