Offering rice and foodstuff: Families of MOHA offered rice and foodstuff to the Sangha

With the aim at the convenience of matters on the alms-food for the monasteries and nunneries during the COVID-19 preventive period, the members of forces, officers and staff families of the Ministry of Home Affairs is offering rice and foodstuffs to the monasteries in each Townships.

On the 28th of March, for the monks residing in the Htoo Gyi Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Pubbathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council, Yan Aung Myin Taikthit monastery in Myitkyina Township, Kachin State, Myoma Pariyatti SarThinTaik in HlaingBwe Township, Kayin State, Ponnyakari Khele Sarthintaik, Pyin Oo Lwin Township Mandalay Region and Min Kyaung Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Mawlamyaing Township, Mon State, the rice and foodstuff were offered by the responsible officials from the relevant Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States on behalf of the members of forces, officers and staff families of the Ministry of Home Affairs, it’s reported.
