Offering offertories: Senior Military Officer inspected damaged monasteries

Maj-Gen Thaung Htike Shwe and officials offered rice provisions and offertories to the monasteries with the roof torn by the Cyclone in Mrauk-U Township of Rakhine State in the morning on May 21.

The Maj-Gen and party paid homage to the presiding Sayasawgyi of Sasana Lankara monastery, Thammarizmonastery, ThazinTawya Kammathan monastery Dr. Baddanta Pannasami, inspected the damaged buildings of the monasteries, clarified the responsible persons for the renovation works and offered rice, cooking oil and cash donation provided by the Rakhine State Government.
