OCHA / EARTHQUAKE SYRIA IDLIB

A United Nations interagency mission visited Idlib Governorate, Syria, to assess needs and distribute aid. The UN humanitarian delegation visited a displacement camp and a reception centre. Medical supplies were distributed to three hospitals, and the team also met with civil society representatives.

The visit included representatives from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). The UN visit continued to an earthquake-affected site in Bsaniah from Harim to Salqin, then to the Salqin Hospital and an affected Primary Health Center. The UN humanitarian agencies also visited a displacement camp and a maternity hospital.
