Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced plans to develop Chinese Taipei’s first AI supercomputer at the Computex technology expo, highlighting the company’s latest advances in artificial intelligence. Huang emphasized the growing importance of AI infrastructure during the event.

Jensen Huang, Nvidia CEO said "AI is now part of infrastructure, and this infrastructure, just like the internet, just like electricity, needs factories. And these factories are essentially what we build today. They're not data centres of the past."

The new supercomputer is designed to support the expanding AI ecosystem in Chinese Taipei, benefiting students, researchers, startups, and established companies involved in AI and robotics. The announcement comes as the semiconductor industry faces challenges such as US tariffs and supply chain disruptions.
