Nutritional Support: Taking care of pregnant women and children

Shan State Government on Tuesday provided nutritional support to pregnant women and gave vitamin A pills and deworming pills to children under the age of five.

This event in Taunggyi Township began with an awareness programme on health education about nutrition. And, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and many other officials gave vitamin A pills and deworming pills to children under the age of five (5). Also, wife of the Chief Minister provided micronutrient tablets and B-1 tablets. It’s reported that a total of 100 pregnant women and 220 children attended this event.
