










Graduation Parade of the 22nd Intake of Defence Services Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences and 9th Intake of Female Nursing and Paramedical Sciences took place at the venue in Yangon on Friday.
Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Thiri Phanchi Maha Thray Sithu Soe Win attended the event on behalf of the Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.
On arrival at the Parade Ground, the Vice Senior General inspected the flag troop and graduation parade columns, followed by the salute of the graduation parade columns. The outstanding awards for versatilities, excellence in training and literature were awarded during the event.
In his graduation speech, the Vice Senior General urged the graduates to serve the state and Tatmadaw with duty consciousness, effectively applying the medical knowledge. He stressed the need to study the herbal medicines while keeping abreast with the innovative western medicines for effective health care services.
The Vice Senior General urged all to strive to become outstanding nurses and paramedics whom can rely by the State and Tatmadaw. Then, the Vice Senior General left the Parade Ground after receiving the salute of the graduation columns.
After the graduation parade, the Vice Senior General met with the outstanding graduates and gave words of honour. At night, a dinner reception was hosted in honour of the graduation of the 22nd Intake of Defence Services Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences and 9th Intake of Female Nursing and Paramedical Sciences.
After the dinner, the Vice Senior General and attendees enjoyed the performances of the Military Band and Myawady Music Troupe under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare.
