Notifying migrant workers: Dept.of Labour raised alert on brokers & fake agents

The department of labor advised to those who are trying to work abroad to connect with official agencies due to having on-ground and online illegal persuasion.

The illegal and fake documents are found in the hands of those who are trying to work abroad, the action can be taken against them in accord with the law relating to overseas employment.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labor, Nyunt Win said "There are brokers and the persons who convince through social media. Some people borrow money and sell what they have to work abroad. In such situation, if they meet with cheaters and brokers, they can lose both their money and chance to work abroad. Those who plan to work abroad can ask help to the departments under the ministry of labor if you want to know something. There are many employment agencies that have been banned to send workers to Thailand. There is labor exchange offices in the respective townships and those are the major offices of dealing with the issues of overseas employment. We have plan to conduct raising awareness program in the regions with various ways and means. "
