Norway's prime minister meets Starmer as new defence pact announced

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street after the two countries announced a new defence pact.

The agreement will see the British and Norwegian navies operate a joint warship fleet in the North Atlantic, according to the UK government. Starmer said the relationship between the two countries is in an excellent place and the defence agreement which reached today takes it to another level.
