Norway's King Harald V, age 87, has been hospitalized in Malaysia due to an infection contracted during his vacation. And it is not yet known when he will return home, the Royal House of Norway said on Wednesday.

The King's personal physician is in Langkawi and confirms that the King is improving from his infection. The King's next work commitment was scheduled for March 8 when he was set to meet the Norwegian government cabinet in Oslo, according to the Norwegian royal court's calendar. In his absence, Crown Prince Haakon, 50, steps in as regent.
