NMacedonian ski resort suffers lack of snow

A lack of snow has kept away thousands of tourists from a ski resort in Macedonia, causing potential financial ruin.
After 2 years of COVID-19, which saw tourists staying away, the resort of Popova Shapka and its local businesses had hoped to recoup its finances.Normally the resort sees snow from November to April.Thousands of skiers and snowboarders, mainly from Macedonia and neighboring Kosovo and Albania, would normally be enjoying the snow.But this year they are staying away, as warm temperatures have resulted in little snow.
