N.Korea launches missiles into Yellow Sea

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea has launched several ballistic missiles. South Korea says it happened around 1:50 p.m. on Monday. It says the salvo of projectiles was launched from somewhere inland, and appeared to fly west of the peninsula, into the Yellow Sea. 

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff confirmed that the missiles were launched from North Korea's Hwanghae province. This marks North Korea's fifth missile launch event this year.
