Nigeria's ruling APC party holds final election rally

Nigerian All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu held his final campaign rally in Lagos on Tuesday, promising to "diligently" fulfil his campaign manifesto if he were elected in February's election.

Thousands of supporters packed a stadium in Lagos to watch the rally for Tinubu. Nigeria, Africa's most populous country is battling unprecedented unemployment of 33% and growing insecurity. More than 80 million Nigerians are living in poverty, according to government data. Tinubu and 17 other candidates are running for the top job in Africa's most populous country.
