Newborn lion cubs thrill visitors at Gaza zoo

Three newborn lion cubs were put on display at a Gaza City zoo as Palestinians children and adults on Friday arrived to see them. The lioness gave birth to the cubs on Friday, five days after Israel and Palestinian militants ended a fierce round of cross-border fighting.
The cubs' health and weights were excellent. The vet and managers of the zoo said they were relieved that the births were successful despite the explosions during the three days of fighting.
