New Zealand PM Luxon meets Modi in New Delhi to revive free trade talks

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon met with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Monday and said both countries would work towards a balanced, ambitious and comprehensive agreement.

. Christopher Luxon, New Zealand Prime Minister said  "We will launch immediately a comprehensive free trade agreement negotiations, making sure that we work towards a balanced, ambitious and comprehensive agreement. The negotiations will expand opportunities for both our countries and our peoples and we look forward to reaching a mutually beneficial agreement."

The meeting addressed the strategic outlook in the Indo-Pacific region, with New Zealand reaffirming its commitment to collaborating with India on shared concerns to ensure regional stability and prosperity.
