New Facilities: Two new libraries opened in Hlaingthaya

Marking the 78th Union Day, Sakkhu Lin Library and Alin Tan Library were opened in Hlaingthaya (West) and (East) Townships on 1st February. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein attended the ceremonies, delivered opening remarks and donated books and publications for the libraries.

Moreover, the donors and well-wishers donated various kinds of knowledge and aesthetic literature for the libraries. The chairmen of the Library Supervisory Committees accepted the donated books and publications and expressed words of appreciation. The libraries were constructed with the contribution of government and well-wishers.
