New Concrete Road: A new road opened at Than Bo Ywa Thit Village in Magway

On 5th February, Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended the new concrete road opening ceremony in Than Bo Ywa Thit Village of Magway Township marking the 78th Union Day.

After cutting ceremonial ribbons, the Chief Minister made a speech, stressing on narrowing of gap between urban and rural area, creating job opportunities, increasing income per capita, MSME development and drafting plans for the emergence of modern villages.

He also called for the concerted efforts of the local residents in regional development activities. Then, the Region Transportation Minister clarified work implementations of the ministry and an official expressed words of gratitude. Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected the progress of concrete paving process, domestic biogas plant and vegetable plantations which are nurtured under pest control greenhouse system.

The 3,000 ft long and 12 ft wide Concrete Road in Than Bo Ywa Thit Village was built with over 100 million kyat from 2024-2025 Fiscal Year Region Government Fund. The road benefits the 279 population from 68 households within the village.
