New 200-Kyat Stamp: New postal stamp features local butterfly species

Myanmar Post, under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, is set to issue a new 200-kyat stamp on July 31st. This stamp features the "Peacock Pansy," a native butterfly species listed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.

Sales of the new stamp will commence at 9:30 a.m. on that day at Nay Pyi Taw Central Post, Yangon and Mandalay Posts, as well as at post offices across regions and states simultaneously. As part of a special program, a first-day cover stamp service will be available at Nay Pyi Taw Central Post, Yangon, and Mandalay Posts.
