Nepal hosts ‘Energy Transition Summit’

In a bid to build a strong foundation for a low-carbon economy, Nepal hosted the ‘Energy Transition for Resilient and Low Carbon Economy Summit 2025’ in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The summit brought together government officials, industry leaders, and international development partners to discuss pathways for achieving a sustainable and inclusive energy sector. The Summit also focused on Nepal’s 10-Year Energy Development Strategy, which focuses on renewable energy expansion, infrastructure improvement, and policies aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
