Nepal government recalls ambassadors from 11 countries

The Government of Nepal has decided to recall its ambassadors from 11 countries. Following a decision made during Thursday’s meeting of the Council of Ministers, the resident envoys being recalled are that of China, Germany, Israel, Malaysia, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan.

The ambassadors have been instructed to return Nepal in three weeks. The government has also decided to invite bids for the remaining construction work and proceed with the procurement process.
