Nepal Army displays military might on 262nd Army Day

Nepal Army marked the 262nd Army Day amid a special program organized at in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The Nepali Army annually observed the Army Day on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri festival, which marks the birthday of Lord Shiva.  President Ramchandra Paudel, who is also the Supreme Commander of the national army, paid floral tributes to the military memorial and received a salute accorded by the Army personnel. During the event, the President observed the formal celebratory gunfire salute, skill shows and performances.

 A contingent of Nepal Army presented a guard of honor to the Head of State.
