


Nepal’s government has approved Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s official visit to China, scheduled to begin on December 2nd for a four-day official visit.
Meeting of the council of ministers on Thursday endorsed the visit. The delegation will comprise 87 members, including 39 government officials, among them ministers, and 48 representatives from the private sector. During his stay, PM Oli will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on December 3. Discussions on the Belt and Road Initiative are also expected during PM Oli’s visit.
According to the Prime Minister, preparation for the China visit are being made especially regarding the effective implementation of the agreements and treaties signed in the past as well as holding discussions on expansion of transmission line, exporting Nepali products to China and other matters of bilateral cooperation.
