NDSC Law No. 19 : Myanmar Passport Law enacted

The National Defense and Security Council has enacted the Myanmar Passport Law (The National Defense and Security Council Law No. 19/2026) on March 17, 2026, in accordance with Section 427 of the Constitution.

The Myanmar Passport Law comprises of 8 Chapters, 47 Sections and Sub-Sections. The Myanmar Passport Act., Act XXXIV, 1920 has been repealed with the Section-47 of this law. The enactment of the Myanmar Passport Law was signed by Acting President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in accordance with the provisions of Section 427 of the Constitution.
