NDSC Announcement 1/2026: Announcement on convening Amyotha Hluttaw

The National Defense and Security Council the Republic of the Union of Myanmar issued an Announcement No. 1/2026 on February 23, 2026.

The Announcement states that in accordance with the provisions under Section 427, Section 154 (b) of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Section 34 (b) of the Amyotha Hluttaw Law 2012, the convening of the First Regular Session of the Third Amyotha Hluttaw, to commence at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, (March 18, 2026), in Nay Pyi Taw.
