Nay Pyi Taw Splash Walk: Work coordination meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

A work coordination meeting for successful organizing of the Nay Pyi Taw Splash Walk was held at the Ministry of Information on 7th March. Prior to the meeting, a video clip on successful organizing of Splash Walk in 2023 and 2024 were screened.

Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohh stated that this year's Festival will be more attractive unlike the previous years since there will be demonstration of Myanmar traditional Thanakha culture. For his part, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture pledged to participate with the performances of Myanmar traditional dance troupe. Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Khun That Zaw Htoo also discussed to demonstrate the history of the Myanmar Thingyan Festival, along with the cultural significance of Myanma Thanakha.

Subsequently, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and Mayor, U Than Tun Oo reported on making preparation measures after reviewing the advantages and disadvantages from previous festivals. The attendees also reported on construction of a pandal for Nay Pyi Taw Splash Walk, water supply, entertainment programs, health care services, disciplinary matters, electricity supply, security measure and plans for Live broadcasting.
