NATO, German forces test cost-effective anti-drone systems

NATO and the German armed forces tested anti-drone systems at a military range in Putlos on Germany’s Baltic coast, where troops bring down small drones with nets, rifles and remote-controlled weapons. The drills showed lower-cost options for countering fast-evolving drone threats, including one-way attack drones and surveillance platforms described by a US brigadier general on site.
