NATO calls for stronger arms ties with Japan

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg called for stronger ties with Japan.Stoltenberg visited Japan's Air Self-Defense Force base in Iruma, Saitama, where he inspected a fighter jet and other aircraft.

Stoltenberg in his speech thanked Japan for its support and reaffirmed the importance of strengthening the partnership between Japan and NATO.Stoltenberg will hold a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida later on Tuesday.
