National Sports Festival: MOL Union Minister meets with the athletes

On 5th December, Union Minister for Labor U MyintNaung met with the athletes who will participate in the 5th National Sports Festival representing the Ministry and made a speech. In his speech, the Union Minister stressed for the development of national sports standard, promotion of sportsmanship as well as the benefits and crucial role of sports in building healthy and prosperous union.

He also encouraged the athletes to make exerted efforts during the sports festival to bring prestige to the Ministry. It was followed by sector wise report on preparations for the festival. Then, the Union Minister and officials oversaw the display of sports equipment.

They also overviewed the training process of the Ministry representing team which will participate in opening and closing events. The athletes from the Ministry of Labor will compete in Golf, Futsal, SepakTakraw and Track and Field competitions in the 5th National Sports Festival.
