National Parliament: Questions Raised, Parliament’s Approval Sought To Ratify A Revised Bill

The National Parliament convenes the 7th day of its 17th regular session on Thursday.

During the session, the representatives raised the asterisk mark questions including  the government’s effort in the diplomatic front to raise the image of the country and its people and reduce the international pressure by understanding the situations and challenges facing by the country as the country is under international pressure and facing the challenges, the encouragement of the government for the farmers to cultivate the international marketable crops such as Kenaf, the effective legal action to be taken against a fish grinding factory in Kyauknimaw Village, Launglon Township, Taninthayi Region as the foul odour emitted by the factory affected public health badly and other 5 questions.

Those were answered by the members of union level organizations.

The speaker of national parliament sought the decision of the parliament to ratify the revised bill of The Defence Services Act, 1959 paragraph by paragraph. Military representative of national parliament Lt. Col. Aung Tun Lin proposed to ratify the revised bill of The Defence Services Act, 1959 and a representative supported. The national parliament speaker sought the approval of the parliament to ratify the revised bill of The Defence Services Act, 1959.
