National Parliament: Electrical Appliances Quality & wetland areas conservation discussed

Amyotha Hluttaw National Parliament convened its 22nd day meeting in Nay Pyi Taw, Wednesday.

Members of the relevant Union Level Institutions responded the questions raised by MPs on relaxing of taxation rates for the development of hotels and tourism industry, arrangements for checking quality and standard of electrical appliances that are distributed from local and abroad, land issue in Belin of Mon State, conservation of sustainable development of Myanma wetland areas to mitigate hazards of natural disaster and climate change, manufacturing of marble stones by Pacific Bold Paragon Co., Ltd. from Sakyin Hill in Mataya Township of Mandalay Region, construction of 4 bridges on Than Phyu Zayat-Phaya Thonezu road in Kyar Inn Seik Gyi Township, Kayin State in 2019-2020 FY and upgrading of a road connecting Chindwin and Wet Poke villages in Butalin Township, Sagaing Region.

The report of Myanmar Medical Degree, Diploma and Certificates Bill with the amendment of Pyithu Hluttaw was clarified and sough for approval.

MPs discussed report regarding proposals and questions raised by Amyotha Hluttaw Government's Guarantees, Pledges and Undertakings Vetting Committee from the 2nd Amyotha Hluttaw 1st regular session to 12th Regular Session. The parliament also sought approval for the said report.
