National Parliament: Construction Of Rural Health CTR (Branch) & Staff Housing Discussed

Amyotha Hluttaw National Parliament convened its 12th day session, Tuesday.

MPs raised questions on arrangements for measles disease not to spread as an epidemic disease in Myanmar, adopting national policy for rendering health care service to people, making necessary reforms to assign exact duties to consultant level specialists, construction of rural health centre (branch) and staff housing in Kawt Mu Pun village, Chaung  Zon Township, Mon State in 2019-2020 FY, placing rural health center (branches) in some villages there are difficult transportation access and river water inflow place in Yay Zagyo Township, Magwe Region and upgrading of Lay Kan rural health center (branch) in Matupi Township, Chin State in 2019-2020 FY.

MPs also discussed 5th Amendment Bills on Pyithu Hluttaw Election Law, Amyotha Hluttaw Election Law and Region/State Hluttaw Election Law.

A proposal urging the Union Government to renovate small lakes, dams and embankments as well as to build new ones for conserving eco-system, having irrigated water for farmers, getting drinking water and storing rain water for household use for rural people, was discussed.
