National Flag of Uzbekistan raised in New York

A ceremonial raising of the National Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan dedicated to the Independence Day was held in the Wall Street financial center of New York.

On 13th September, on the eve of the 33rd anniversary of independence, the country flag is flying high in almost every country of the world, by the compatriots working and living there, on the initiative of countries that respect Uzbekistan.

The guests who spoke showed special interest in Uzbek culture and traditions. During the festivities, cultural and entertainment performances with the participation of creative groups and musical groups of the Uzbek diaspora, Uzbek national costumes captivated everyone. Any tourist passing through the streets of the city was accompanied by national songs.
