National Export Strategy: National Export Promotion Committee held a meeting

National Export Strategy Government-Private Export Promotion Committee held its meeting at the Ministry of Commerce in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Committee Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn and officials from relevant departments and private sector.

During the meeting, the Union Minister made an opening speech saying that there are specific targets to be exported according to each export item for 2024-2025 fiscal year and it was found that the first 6 months could exceed the target in pulses and corn export.

However, it is still necessary to meet the targets set for other export items. He urged all to develop business plans sector-wise that could bring benefits.

Next, Committee secretary Deputy Minister U Min Min clarified implementation of the National Export Strategy Public-Private Export Promotion Committee's meeting (2/2024) decisions and the status of the implementation of the work submitted by the sectors.

Next, chairpersons of National Export Strategy Sectoral Export Development Committee clarified the implemented process and future plans.
