National Day reception: DPM MoFA UM attends Saudi Arabia’s Nat’l Day reception

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe on 23rd September attended a reception hosted by Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Saud Abdullah Alsubaie at Wyndham Grand Hotel in Yangon on the occasion of Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day.

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe was welcomed at the reception by the Saudi Arabian ambassador. After the opening procedures, the Saudi Arabian ambassador made a greeting speech. Then, the two leaders cut the cake and posed for the documentary photo together with other attendees.

The ambassador hosted the dinner to participants. Ambassadors from foreign embassies in Yangon, chargés d’affaires, military attachés and resident representatives of the UN agencies and invitees attended the event.
