Two astronauts who rode on Boeing's Starliner spacecraft to the International Space Station in June will finally return to Earth on a vessel built by Elon Musk's SpaceX.

NASA announced the astronauts who were slated for eight days in orbit are now expected to return to Earth in February. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said the decision is a "result of their commitment to safety," during a press conference. The return of two astronauts have been delayed by thruster malfunctions of the Boeing spacecraft.
