NA chairman hosts European diplomats

Vietnam's National Assembly chairman hosted a reception for EU Ambassador Julien Guerrier and other EU diplomats to Viet Nam.

At the meeting, the Chairman hoped for continued close coordination between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the European Parliament. He also expressed hope that the European Commission would remove its “yellow card” on Vietnamese seafood.

The European side expressed a desire to enhance collaboration with Viet Nam in maritime security, compliance with international law, and addressing non-traditional challenges like cyber security, affirming coordination to promote the removal of the IUU “yellow card” on Vietnamese seafood.
