NA chair meets with Singaporean PM

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man met with Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on Monday during his official visit to Singapore.

Reflecting on over five decades of diplomatic ties, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Viet Nam-Singapore relations, particularly through high-level exchanges.

They praised robust economic collaboration, with Singapore being Viet Nam’s second-largest foreign investor, supporting over 3,800 projects worth $81 billion. NA Chairman encouraged further support for Vietnamese businesses and the 25,000 Vietnamese nationals in Singapore.

Prime Minister Wong expressed hope that the visit would guide future cooperation and announced plans to visit Viet Nam next year, extending an invitation to Party General Secretary To Lam.
