Myitkyina City Upgrading Project: Kachin State Chief Minister inspects progress of works

The Kachin State Government is overseeing the transformation of Myitkyina City to align with its distinctive characteristics. Under the supervision of the Township Development Affairs Committee, construction of the Ayeyawady River View Resort is underway at the Ayeyawady River Jetty in Sitapu Ward.

Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan conducted a site visit on Friday evening to monitor the progress of the project, which spans a 24-acre land plot. Additionally, a new asphalt concrete road is being laid along the Ayeyawady River bank, extending from Naing Ngan Gonyay Road to Waimaw Jetty.
