Myanmar Women’s Day pre activities: Patron of MWAF attended pre activities of MWD

Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister and Honorary Patron of the Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation (MWAF), attended the Myanmar traditional costume show and variety concert held at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-II in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday. Organized by the Myanmar National Committee on Women (MNCW), the Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation (MWAF) presented a traditional costume show and variety concert in commemoration of Myanmar Women's Day which falls on 3rd July.

Also present at  the occasion were the honorary Patrons of MWAF Daw Khin Thet Htay and Daw Than Than Nwe, alongside the wives of the SAC Secretary, the Joint Secretary, SAC members, Union Ministers, senior officials, and invited guests. At the ceremony, the "Myanmar Women's Day" song was performed, accompanied by a showcase of new costumes designed by renowned designers.

Additionally, the song "Let the Union last forever" resonated through the venue, accompanied by performances of famous singers. Following this, the event featured the song "Union of Myanmar" alongside a fashion show highlighting the creative works of famous designers, intertwined with musical performances and a one-act drama presentation.Following the event, MWAF Honorary Patron Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and other honorary patrons presented a flower bouquet to MWAF.

Subsequently, the wives of the SAC Secretary and Joint Secretary presented flower bouquets to the performing artists, while Chairman of the Myanmar Women’s Committee, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win presented flower bouquets to the event organizer and MWAF's secretary. After the ceremony, MWAF Honorary Patron Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, other honorary patrons, and officials warmly greeted the artists.
