Myanmar Situation Update: SAC Information Team makes clarifications

Leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council Major General Zaw Min Tun on Wednesday provided update on the situation in Myanmar.

The Major General highlighted the cooperation between Myanmar and the People’s Republic of China in the peace and stability of border area, rule of law and security and the status of transferring Chinese citizens who are illegally residing at border areas of  Myanmar, the armed engagements in Shan State (North) Sagaing Region and Rakhine State on December 6, 2023 and the statement released by the Central Bank of Myanmar.
