Myanmar Situation Update: SAC Information Team makes clarifications

Leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council Major General Zaw Min Tun on Friday provided updates on the situation in Myanmar.

The Major General highlighted the joint maritime security exercise by the Tatmadaw (Navy) and China’s 44th PLA Navy Escort Task Group, continuation of crackdown on illegal residency in border areas, attacks in the northeastern Shan State, Kayah State, Kayin State and Rakhine State and Chin State on the 1st of December and terrorist activities without following the law while moving towards a multi-party democratic system.
