





3 universities under the Ministry of Science and Technology signed MoU with the National Research Nuclear University (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute-MEPhI) of the Russian Federation on Saturday.
It’s to cooperate in science, technology and engineering subjects including nuclear energy and technology subjects, to produce qualified technicians and to promote the development of public benefit research.
At this MoU signing ceremony at the Yangon Technological University, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Zeya said that Russia has always been a partner country with Myanmar, and this year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Today's ceremony is a unique and important new milestone for the strong friendship and scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries. Mutual exchange and promotion will be carried out for the advancement of the nuclear technology sector.
Also, Deputy Rector of the National Research Nuclear University (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute-MEPhI) gave a speech.
And, the MoU was signed between the Yangon Technological University, the University of Information Technology, the Technological University (Kyaukse) and the National Research Nuclear University (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute-MEPhI).
